Manufacturer: British Gyroplanes LTD. |
|
Details:
The Campbell Cricket is a single seat autogyro designed by Peter Lovegrove and first produced in 1967 but has now not been produced for a number of years. In January 2001 the Cricket became available once again as a kit-build aircraft produced by Cricket Gyroplanes Ltd. It was later developed further and sold by Layzell Gyroplanes Ltd. The Cricket is a well proven autogyro and is probablly the most commonly flown autogyro in the U.K. An interesting fact is that if the registration does not begin with G-A then it is not one of the original Campbells. |

Manufacturer: Rotary Air Force |
|
Details:
The RAF 2000 is a 2 seat fully enclosed autogyro with side by side seating and is sold in kit-form. It was originally developed by Bernard J. Haseloh and first manufactured by Rotary Air Force in Canada but the marketing and manufacturing rights were later sold to the Mocke Family of South Africa in April 2007.
The RAF 2000 is a development of the earlier RAF 1000 which was a similar single seat aircraft.
The RAF 2000 is unique amongst autogyros in that it does not have a horizontal tailplane, although aftermarket horizontal tailplanes are available but not recommended by the manufacturer.
The RAF 2000 is renowned for its load carrying capability, as it is able to carry its own weight.
There are three engine options available. The
RAF 2000 GTX SE has a 130 hp Suburu flat four carburetted engine, the RAF 2000 GTX SE FI has the same engine but is fuel injected thus making it a little more economical and the RAF 2000 GTX SE FI 2.5 has a more powerful 165 hp (123 kW) Suburu fuel injected engine. |
